About Gabriella

Gabriella holds a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College. She spent her postgraduate clinical training as a fellow at the Training Institute for Mental Health, a psychoanalytic institute that fosters interpersonal and relational therapeutic approaches, and as a clinician at Blanton-Peale Institute and Counseling Center in New York City. Gabriella draws from a multidisciplinary background working in the arts as a dancer and curator. She is a lifelong learner who continues to be influenced by many lines of thought, including Queer of Color Critique, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Somatic Psychology, as well as the work of Luce Irigarary, Frantz Fanon, Julia Kristeva, Jacques Lacan, and her patients. She is currently a PhD researcher at The Global Centre for Advanced Studies (GCAS).
